Please join us as we kick off the evening by welcoming everyone to the PNW Women’s Tennis Coaching Network. Participants will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their coaching backgrounds, and connect with other attendees. This opening segment is designed to help foster a supportive environment and set the tone for an engaging session.

Connection Activity – Hopes & Fears Sticky Notes Plus Timeline Teleportation Activity with Partner

Discussion Question 1: What are key qualities of a great coach in your opinion? Who has been a great coach that has had an impact on your life and why (as a player or as a coach)?

Discussion Question 2: What resources do you use to improve/grow your coaching skills? (book recommendations, social media, websites, podcasts, trainings, other?)

Discussion Question 3: Spring Event ideas...brainstorm a way we could either run an event that facilitates more women entering tennis coaching or create an event we run for young girls and teen girls so they can see more women coaches in the role? When, where, who?

Discussion Question 4: What’s one project you are really proud of that you’d like to share with the group or what is one project you have coming up that you would like some help and advice on?
