Thanks to John Terpkosh, Iowa tennis leaders are in for a great afternoon! 🎾

The Iowa Lunch & Learn CTA Summit, hosted by USTA Iowa, on October 3, 2026 will bring together tennis leaders to learn, connect, and share ideas. Two of the presenters, Bunny Bruning and Marla Frantum, are also part of Women Coaching Racquet Sports (WCRS) and will bring their experiences in community programming and leadership development to the conversation.

Bunny, President of WCRS, will share how the Central Iowa Tennis Alliance and WCRS have worked to create free and inclusive opportunities through middle school programs, teen clinics, adaptive tennis, girls programming, Red Ball training, equipment donations, and community events.

Marla will share her experience with the USTA CTA L.E.A.D. program, including five national learning sessions and the New York City capstone experience, as well as her new leadership opportunity as a CTA Ambassador, supporting and connecting past CTA L.E.A.D. participants.

Together, Bunny and Marla will share ideas, successes, lessons learned, and ways community tennis organizations can use partnerships, volunteers, and leadership development to create opportunities and grow the game.
